Teacher Education and Training Programs
Teachers are the most important part of the education system who teach children and students all they need to know in order to form them at a young age or to instruct them into forming a career. However in order to become an educator one individual must receive a particular brand of education as well.
Teacher education is actually a three step process that ranges from preparation to initiation and then development. A teacher never stops learning, like any of their pupils. Educating a teacher takes time and preparation on the future teacher to be. The first step one must do is prepare. At this stage the teacher education program is based on a series of courses that are meant to teach about how to act as an educator. However there will always be need for the particular knowledge that the future professor is going to teach to others, like physics, or math or English.
The second step in teacher training education is introducing the course taker into a classroom where he or she can begin their new career. At first the person desiring to become a pedagogue will be an assistant teacher to a professor or will be accompanied by one to make sure that classes go well.
After the first few years of the teacher education training the individual is in fact a professor and will continue to develop his or her teaching skills in the classroom and with the pupils. It is a long process that can take tens of years depending on many factors. However many see it as a joy and a great chance to pass on knowledge. What follows are years of learning new things in their field to stay relevant at all times and to always be in touch with what is happening around them. Teachers also learn from their students, which is one of the greater joys of this profession.
